“When I began researching approved trainers with whom to complete my Rule 31 mediation training, I chose Clay Phillips because of what I already knew about his reputation. After completing his mediation training course, I can definitely say that I made the right decision. Even though I have been through many mediations as an attorney, Clay's immersive training reshaped my understanding and approach to the mediator's role. Clay uses a great balance of practical information, humor, and war stories, which make his training program both effective and enjoyable. I wholeheartedly and without reservation recommend Clay's program to anyone who is in the market for mediation training.”

Steve Huret

“I just completed Clay Phillips online Civil Mediation Training and it was full of great education material and a wonderful narrator by Clay. He has extensive experience but most important a passion for mediation which was evident from Day 1. I would encourage anyone seeking mediation training to chose Clay Phillips for your training source. I'm looking forward to taking the cross over training to family mediation in the near future.”

Mario Lagrone

“I contacted Clay Phillips months before I finally made the decision to take one of his classes. Every time I emailed him with a question or a concern, he always responded quickly. He is very considerate and accommodating of others. If you cannot complete a course in one session you can attend another at a later date. I was fortunate enough to be able to attend his first all virtual class. I would say it was a great success! Even with my cute little distraction...my 8 month old baby girl. The amount of experience and knowledge the other attendees brought to the class discussion was incredible. Clay is an excellent instructor and really knows his stuff. He has creative technology at his disposal and always rolls with the punches when things don't quite work out as anticipated. I would recommend Clay Phillips Mediation and Training to anyone looking for a class for certification or even continued learning hours. 10/10!”

Tristan Gomez

“Clay is such a great instructor. The information he provided was so interesting, and I utilized it right away when I returned to work. Understanding the process involved in getting people who might not have ever agreed on anything to a place where they can live with the outcome saves so many resources that our court system simply doesn’t have. Mediation is the future and Clay does an excellent job of preparing us for it.”

Jennifer Wright

“Clay is not only knowledgeable in all facets of the psychology and emotion behind conflict resolution, but is adept at clear explanations of the principles of conflict resolution. Moreover, his examples are vivid and refreshing. I thoroughly enjoyed the training block. Candidly, it was the best week of training I have ever experienced. It was a treat.”

Curtis Bowe
